Q1. Is there a Registration fee for Eureka2009?
Ans: There is no Registration fee applicable for Eureka2009.
Q2. Our college did not receive the poster & invite from Vector. Are we eligible to take part?
Ans: We have tried our best to send personal invite to all colleges but may have missed some due large numbers or postal delays.
You are most welcome to take part, the poster & invite can be downloaded from www.vectorindia.org/eureka/download.html .The program is open to students pursuing BE/ B.Tech / M.Tech/ MSc/ MCA from all Indian Universities.
Q3. How do I check the status of my abstract?
Ans: You can log in with your Eureka id & email and check the status online at www.vectorindia.org
The list of 30-finalists teams each in paper & project will be announced on 5th April'09 after considering all entries
Q4. What is the team size that one can have?
Ans: Project: Max team size is 2
Paper presentation: Max team size is 1
Q5.Once in final round will the train tickets be mailed to us?
Ans:Candidates are required to book their to & fro tickets and the amount will be reimbursed at Hyderabad on displaying the ticket
Q6. Do we need to upload the complete paper or project documentation?
Ans: No, candidates are required to upload only the abstract of their project or paper
Q7. What is the word limit of the abstract being uploaded?
Ans: The abstract must not be more than 500 words
Q8. When can the finalists check in for the hotel accommodation?
Ans:The accommodation will be available from 5:00pm of 10th April'09 to 12th April'09. A detailed mail on this will be sent to the finalist teams
Q9. While subbmiting abstract, what do we mention in Scope of paper/project?
Ans: You need to pin point exactly what it does/ what it deals with.
