At VECTOR we believe “Excellence is a skill”. To ensure that we have equally serious & genuinely interested candidates who will reciprocate our efforts for excellence & quality; VECTOR conducts an All India Entrance Test for admission to the Program in Embedded Systems. This test assesses the student’s domain knowledge, aptitude and communication skills. This test is conducted once every 3 months. The last test was conducted in the month of 28th October a total of 5700 appeared for the admission test of which only 120 were selected. These students were taken as two batches, with 60 students each.

Infrastructure

• Well furnished and Air conditions Blocks:  for  Classrooms, Lab with systems, Hardware Lab, Library and Hall for placements.
  
• Class rooms are equipped with better seating arrangements,  Projectors etc.
  
• Lab with over 140 systems to offer system to student ratio of 1:1
  
• All the systems are equipped with Fedora Linux, Windows and connected to Linux servers.
  
• Labs are open  for the students 24 X 7 for practical training  and to gain more knowledge on embedded domain
  
• Hardware Lab is equipped with 8051, ARM, PIC  Microcontroller kits with accessories to facilitate experiments on interfacing and hardware. Customized kits  are also made available  that will suit the requirements of the course
  
• Practicals : Lab co-ordinators to student ratio of 1:8 for personalized guidance.
  
• Library : with wide range of  Books,  Magazines, Journals and CDs, DVDs  pertaining to Embedded Systems to facilitate  the Faculty and students to acquire complete and updated knowledge on Embedded Programming and  domain. Photocopier and scanner also installed in the Library to facilitate students to photocopy / scan the articles of their choice for reference in future.
  
• News Magazine: VECTOR is publishing News Magazines at regular intervals on the training program,  placements during the period,  Latest trends and developments on Embedded and other.  Magazines is widely circulated to various organization and students in the same field.
  
• Placement Cell:  with necessary infrastructure is established to facilitate IT Employers to visit the Institute for Campus Interviews for selection.
  
• Personality development Cell: Established with an objective to improve communication and technical skills to the students and  Mock interviews are conducted to facilitate students to attended the Interviews in the campus with ease.
