Invitation: We invite all young innovators to Eureka 2009 to present their innovative ideas in the multi-disciplinary embedded systems in the form of paper & project presentation.
AIM: The event aims to identify industry viable innovative ideas and projects, which can be put into support & incubation to make them a business success.
Eligibility: Students pursuing BE / B.Tech / M.Tech/ M.Sc / MCA in any Indian University .
Why Eureka 2009?
Quoting Dr. Anil Gupta’s article – each year 6-lakh technology students in India do a final year project for the fulfillment of their degree. The current setup of relations of the academia-industry does not provide adequate scope to give recognition to industry viable innovative ideas & projects. Most of these ideas after evaluation end up nowhere; same is the scenario with the much common technical fests in campuses where things come to an end after the prize ceremony.
There is no appreciable change in the ground situation of encouraging a viable idea or encouraging an innovator. And the innovator ends up modifying or rather trying to upgrade his / her skill set to suit the current demand that gets him a job.
This is where Eureka 2009 will make the difference in getting the young innovators & industry onto a common platform and help pool in support & incubation for industry viable ideas.
Let’s not forget that- “Google” one of the most successful innovations of recent times was started as an academic project.
