Institute is the only private Institute in India that conducts a campus-based
all India admission test for admission into the Program in Embedded. The
admission process at VECTOR Institute is governed by a well-laid out policy.
The admission process at VECTOR Institute is governed by a well-laid out policy
that aims at picking up the cream of students, to train them further into
finished products that can take up any challenging job with the industry.
Candidates are chosen through an All India Entrance Test conducted every three
months.
The eligibility criteria and process for admission into the Program in Embedded
Systems is as follows.
Eligibility:
BE/B.Tech (ECE, EEE, EIE, CSE, IT); MCA; MSc (CS, Electronics, Instrumentation,
Physics with specialization in electronics); M.Tech (Electronics, CS); &
working software professionals with relevant experience in IT industry, and
willing to shift to Embedded Systems, and develop their careers in the same.
All India Admission Test:
VECTOR Institute conducts a campus-based All India Entrance Test for admission
to the Advanced Course in Embedded Systems. The test is conducted every three
months at 11-cities all over the country.
Test Syllabus for Embedded Systems: Basics of C programming (without Data structures), Microprocessor 8085
(architecture, assembly language, interfacing), Digital electronics, Basics of Networking, General Aptitude.
Test Syllabus for VLSI : Digital electronics, Analytical and General Aptitude, Microprocessor 85/86, basics of 'C' programming, Network Analysis.
Test centers: New Delhi, Pune, Kolkata, Ahemdabad, Lucknow, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Bhubaneshwar, Vishakapatnam, Vijayawada.
Admissions are awarded subject to clearing the All India Entrance Test. VECTOR
Institute makes provision for discount in the fee up to 50% based on test
performance and parameters, which are decided by the management form time to
time.
COURSE DURATION:
The Training Program in Embedded Systems runs for 5 months. This Program ends
with an Executive Training based Project-work that runs for one month.

Students preparing for the All India entrance Test are advised in their own
interest to undergo thorough practice of large number of C-programs and explore
in-depth in the microprocessor & digital electronics subjects.
